Yes, rayon is an excellent choice for everyday clothing — especially in warm climates like India. It is soft, lightweight, breathable and drapes beautifully, keeping you comfortable throughout the day. Rayon absorbs moisture well, making it cooler than synthetic fabrics. Rayon requires gentle care to maintain its quality and shape. Hand washing in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent is recommended. If ironing is needed, use a low-to-medium heat setting while the fabric is slightly damp, or place a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric. A higher GSM (180–300+) gives you heavier, more structured fabric suited for winter wear, suiting and outerwear. Always ask for the GSM when ordering in bulk — it ensures the fabric performs correctly for your end garment.

Match the GSM to the end use of your garment: for light summer garments such as dresses, kurtas and blouses, choose 80–140 GSM; for mid-weight garments such as shirts, casual trousers and salwar sets, choose 140–200 GSM; for heavier garments such as jackets, winter wear and formal suiting, choose 200–320 GSM.
